Louise Pons grew up in the South of France and lives in Berlin. Her practice ranges from stage and costume design to performance, video, games and web art. From 2015 to 2020 she studied Stage Design at the University of the Arts in Berlin with Prof. Hartmut Meyer and Prof. Janina Audick. Since 2021, she works closely with the puppet theatre collective Das Helmi. She co-founded the performance duo Only Game in Town and collaborates with various artists and collectives. Louise Pons explores questions about the future through a humorous, cartoon-like language. Her work has been shown at Saarländisches Staatstheater, Musiktheater im Revier, Theater Regensburg, Theater Thikwa, Ballhaus Ost and WestGermany/NorthEurope among other places.
